Making EVS and Youth exchange for all

ns1This Training Course “Making EVS and Youth exchange for all” aims to develop the skills and knowledge of organizations who work in the field of youth mobility and to stimulate the exchange of good practices and experience in order to increase the quality of youth mobility projects. Also it aims to spread knowledge to partners in the East Europe and Caucasus region thus strengthening their capacity to use the Youth in Action programme effectively and successfully. In the specific way the training course will offer the opportunity for civil society organisations from countries in Europe, East Europe and Caucasus region to develop new skills and competences in the project planning, implementation and management of Youth Exchanges and EVS. In addition the strong focus on collaborative learning means that good practices will be identified and shared. Continue reading

Youth in action

Youth in Action is the EU Programme for young people aged 15-28 (in some cases 13-30). It aims to inspire a sense of active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and to involve them in shaping the Union’s future.

Youth in Action is a programme for all! It promotes mobility within and beyond the EU borders, non-formal learning and inter-cultural dialogue, and encourages the in-clusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social and cultural back- ground. Continue reading

Development Programme for the period 2007 – 2017
1.0. Background

The countries in the region of South East Europe are slowly recovering from years of war, disintegration and conflict. The wars following the break-up of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRJ) led to mass movements of people and resettlement along ethnic lines. The wars thus produced considerable demographic changes in the composition of the population in many countries and areas in SEE. This fact is still today a major obstacle to reconciliation and normalization of relationships between the peoples and states in the region, and it will be for many years to come. If not dealt with appropriately, this can be seeds for future conflicts. In addition, final status of some geographical and political entities in the region has not been completed. Future stability in the region depends on adequate, just and appropriate solutions to these questions. Continue reading
